Wednesday 7th November 2007 10:03:52

The 2008 Pet Care Forum, organised by the Pet Care Trust and sponsored by GLEE Petindex (Lead Sponsor), Wagg and Happy Pet, will be held on Sunday 13 April at The Belfry in the West Midlands. The programme for the day will centre around the question: ‘Supermarkets: Opportunity or Threat?’ There will be, among others, talks on industry and product trends, retail debates and a discussion panel of 5 successful retailers explaining what makes their stores more successful.

Speakers for the Forum include market analysts and retailers from a range of top businesses, for example, Andy Judd, Retail Sector Manager, Lloyds TSB; Tim How, MD of Majestic Wine Warehouses plc; Paul Matthews, MD Synovate Aztec UK; and Graham Dyson, Buying Director, Pets at Home.

Prior to the Forum there will be an icebreaker event on the previous afternoon where guests can compete on The Belfry’s Derby Green. Tee-off will be at 3.00pm, followed by a relaxed barbecue with prize giving for some lucky golfers. A gala dinner to end the Forum will be held in the Warwick Suite on the Sunday night.

If you would like to attend, please contact Marie Petsis on 01234 273933; e-mail: petevents@petcare.org.uk, or download the brochure and booking form from the Pet Care Trust Website completing it and posting it back to the Trust at: Unit A, Bedford Business Park, 170 Mile Road, Bedford, MK42 9TW.
